A northwesterly airflow lies over New Zealand on Thursday.
Areas of rain or showers for western regions once again on Thursday, rain may be heavy about Fiordland. Rain may also become heavy for the western North Island overnight Taranaki northwards.
Mainly dry weather in the east with some high cloud and warm temperatures. Spots of rain possible about Southland from afternoon.

Regarding comments in video about NIWA
I totally agree and dismissed NIWA ages ago
They are nothing but a taxpayer funded organisation that must tow the line or any monies will be cut
Just as with the scientists that push the dangers of CO2 and man made Climate Change, this lot depend wholly on their grants and funding
Follow the money and do the research, you soon find out why the lies etc
