InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Monday / Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Mainly anticyclonic for New Zealand today bringing settled conditions for most, a few morning drizzle patches then isolated showers about also. A large anticyclone directs a light northeasterly airflow over New Zealand on Tuesday.

Plenty of cloud about the North Island today, there may be a morning shower or drizzle patch for the upper North Island then in the afternoon the odd isolated shower may become heavy from southern Auckland through to Taupo. Sunny spells for most of the South Island, isolated showers this afternoon about inland areas, possibly heavy then clearing this evening.

A very similar pattern unfolds on Tuesday.
