InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Friday / Saturday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

High pressure covers most of New Zealand today and on Saturday, easterly winds about the far north. A northwest airflow gradually builds over the South Island on Saturday.

Mainly settled and sunny today, cold to start with fog patches possible. Just watch for a few showers about eastern Northland and Coromandel, also southern Fiordland at the other end of the country.

A similar story again on Saturday mainly for the North Island, cloud starts to thicken up along the South Island’s West Coast, high cloud out east.
