InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Friday / Saturday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A large anticyclone with its centre east of the country directs an easterly quarter airflow over New Zealand today and on Saturday.

A shower or two at times during today for the northeastern North Island, a mix of sun and cloud elsewhere. Some cloud for the West Coast of the South Island, a few showers about mainly for South Westland. Mostly sunny along the east coast, perhaps some high cloud.

A similar picture for the North Island again on Saturday, the South Island is mostly cloudy in the west and drier / sunnier out east.
