How is it where you are this morning?
A very winter-like morning is under way across the country. A cold and blustery south-west flow is keeping things very chilly this morning. Higher elevations of the South Island have seen a bit of snow. Icy gales are expected across the deep south.
So how has your Friday started out? If you have any winter weather pictures, we would love to see them.

Was very pleasant here this morning, good bit of sun and also clouds but quite mild. Wind slight. More cloud has since come in from late morning and a shower or two would not be unexpected.

It currently about 16 deg in Auckland city. Not sure why my fellow Aucklanders are wearing so many layers of clothes: harden up Aucklanders!

Icy?? Not yet – the wind was definitely cool and strong here in the deep south but has eased this morning.

No not really cold except in the wind and if it rains on you which you take shelter for, except the zillion pine needles and leaves from the last 2 or so days.

It’s cold with a strong blustery sw’er and passing showers. The temperature is a very cool 6.3 deg. C.
