High times – Situation & outlook for Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We’ve seen a pretty settled start to the week so far, and that trend is set to continue with the weather pattern for Tuesday.

We have a high covering the whole country, while a front sits over the South Island – although it doesn’t represent any significant risks.
The front should just bring cloudy skies and some patchy rain or drizzle in places – though this will come as a relief to some farmers in Canterbury!

Winds around the whole country are looking fairly light – with some fog possible in inland North Island areas both early and late in the day.
