Saturday is looking nice and clear at this stage – though the northwesterly airflow which has been sitting over the country continues to influence proceedings.
A high sits waiting in the Tasman Sea to our west, which will begin to influence our weather patterns and really settle things down, after a topsy-turvy sort of a week!
The West Coast of the South Island also carries something of a thunderstorm risk – for areas south of Greymouth during the day…
