Cut the hay and put it in the barn, chopped the wood and put that in the barn. Harvested the honey to make lots of lemon and honey drinks, and closed up the hives nice and tight so they’ll stay warm. Bought new warm covers for all the horses – and had to shear the sheep ‘cos they’re all getting fly strike !! In May???!!
They’re now tucked up in our most sheltered valley paddock – had to be done, but I still feel mean!

Great for adverse weather…if its going to be cold and rainy and snowy then bring it on!!! better to have it all i reckon! oh, and looking forward to winter swell, nothing like pumping waves on a cold morning…………(Except pumping waves in a warm climate, with boardshorts on)………… lol!

Been ready since January…well-prepared for our six-month winter season of cold and wet. Here’s hoping we have a short-lived semblance of spring/summer after this lot!!
