There are no significant risks of severe weather on the horizon today, though things will start to get pretty hot, especially in the South Island!
Eastern and northern areas of the South Island could be in for a scorcher – temperatures at this stage look like they could reach north of 27 or 28 degrees in Canterbury, as well as Nelson – but Marlborough is shaping up to exceed that.
If things pan out as they look like doing at the moment, Marlborough could easily be in for a plus 30 day.
So any risks will be sunshine associated – remember to slip, slop slap and wrap if you’re out enjoying the weather!
