After a spate of sunny weekends, Christchurch didn’t record one second of sunshine over a 60 hour period, making for a gloomy and misty weekend.
Overnight lows were a little above average but temperatures didn’t top 10 degrees during either day, reverting back to the winter temps that had been obvious a month or so earlier.
Daffodils were beginning to bloom recently however not too many new bulbs were sprouting on either Saturday or Sunday.
The week ahead looks a little brighter for the compared to the weekend, but temperatures shouldn’t reach any significant heights.
