A cold, rain bringing front is pushing onto the South Island as we speak – bringing rain and showers to parts of both islands through Tuesday evening and into Wednesday.
Wednesday should see those showers move across the South Island into the east, hopefully bringing some moisture to farm soil in especially dry parts of Canterbury.
