Friday’s Weather Video – Sizzling hot in some places before Christmas

The skies have cleared up over the north of the country, as a westerly airflow dominates our skies heading into the weekend.

It’s a beautiful, sunny day in many parts of western New Zealand, but things are about to change as we move into Saturday – as warm conditions take over.

Northwesterlies come through on Sunday and Monday, but may not stick around for too long, as a cold front moves in at the start of Christmas week.
