After a windy, colder, week today shows signs of some change with lighter winds and for a number of regions it will be warmer too.
High pressure is north of NZ and is helping calm things down a litte.
This northern placement is also allowing for warmer winds from Australia to move in. Some parts of the South Island will be warmer than average today – what a change!
We also have your 3 day rainfall forecast, with more wet weather for the West Coast but many other places are leaning dry.
