Settled for most of New Zealand again today thanks to high pressure, we do have a few showers in the far north though and in the far south.
Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Partly cloudy, fog morning and night especially for Auckland and south of there. Chance of an isolated shower late afternoon about inland hills and ranges for Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. Northland is mostly cloudy during the day with showers, showers move down into Coromandel overnight. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 18 – 22
Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, areas of coastal cloud. Some fog morning and night especially inland. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 17 – 20
Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny, a few clouds develop in the afternoon as light winds tend southeast.
Highs: 21 – 25
Wellington
A mix of sun and cloud, breezy northerlies ease in the morning then tend to the south in the afternoon.
Highs: 16 – 19
Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny, a few clouds from afternoon for Marlborough. Light winds tend onshore in the afternoon.
Highs: 18 – 21
Canterbury
Sunny at first after any mist or fog breaks away then cloud develops in the morning south of Banks Peninsula, afternoon further north as east to northeasterly winds freshen. Cloud may break away in the evening a touch but watch for more mist or fog overnight. In the high country conditions are mostly sunny and warm all day but nippy to start and again overnight.

West Coast
Partly cloudy, Fiordland has showers. Buller is mostly sunny with fog morning and night for inland areas. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 14 – 20
Southland & Otago
Mostly cloudy with patchy showers or drizzle for Southland, Central Otago is mostly sunny with a few clouds from afternoon, chance of an isolated shower in the evening. Coastal Otago has morning sun then cloud thickens with a few showers late afternoon or evening. West to southwesterly winds.
