Mainly settled today thanks to a high, a front approaches from the southwest though with rain moving into Fiordland this evening.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny, some cloud at times, especially in the morning. Light winds tend onshore in the afternoon.
Highs: 20-21

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, there may be a touch of mist or cloud to start then clearing. Light winds.
Highs: 16-20

Eastern North Island

Sunny weather, any early coastal cloud clears. Light winds tend south to southwest.
Highs: 19-21

Wellington

A mix of sun and cloud, northerly winds from afternoon.
Highs: 18-19

Marlborough & Nelson

Morning cloud breaks to sun, Nelson may have a morning light shower before drying out. Light winds tend north to northwest in the afternoon.
Highs: 19-21

Canterbury

Any morning coastal cloud clears, mostly sunny otherwise with a touch of high cloud developing during the day. Northeasterlies.
Highs: 17-19

West Coast

Cloudy areas with the odd light shower, rain moves into Fiordland in the evening, a little further north into South Westland overnight. Northerly winds.
Highs: 16-19

Southland & Otago
High cloud and some sun, early cloud clears coastal Otago. Spits of rain overnight. Light winds, northeasterlies for coastal Otago.
Highs: 18-21
