Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny spells, afternoon showers possibly heavy. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 23-24

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny spells, there may be a shower about Taranaki late afternoon / evening. Southeasterly winds.
Highs: 19-24

Eastern North Island
Cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle, areas of rain more persistent about Gisborne. Southeasterly winds.
Highs: 18-20

Wellington
Sunny spells with east to southeasterly winds.
High: 20

Marlborough & Nelson
Cloudy periods with easterly winds about Marlborough, afternoon northerlies for Nelson.
Highs: 18-21

Canterbury
Mostly sunny, some cloud at times Banks Peninsula northwards. Cloud about inland areas developing in the evening. East to northeasterly winds, breezy from afternoon near the coast.
Highs: 16-18

West Coast
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 18-23

Southland & Otago
Any morning low cloud or fog breaks then mostly sunny, there may be some cloud about coastal Otago. Light winds for most, breezy ENE winds for coastal Otago.
Highs: 18-22
