Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud, a chance of early fog about the Waikato. Risk of a brief shower or two about Bay Of Plenty during the day. Chance of an isolated shower in the afternoon elsewhere otherwise mainly dry. Light east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, a chance of low cloud or fog to start the day, fog more likely about the Central North Island. Light west to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-17

Eastern North Island
Sunny with afternoon east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-17

Wellington
Cloudy areas and occasional sun with breezy northwesterly winds.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with north to northwesterly winds, a warm afternoon for Marlborough.
Highs: 14-18

Canterbury
Mainly sunny with some high cloud, light north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 16-18

West Coast
Cloudy areas with the odd light shower possible, some rain for Fiordland. Northeasterly winds.
Highs: 14-15

Southland & Otago
Plenty of high cloud, some sun may break through at times. Chance spot of rain about Southland from afternoon then Otago in the evening. Northerly winds.
