Morning cloud breaks to a mostly sunny afternoon, southwesterly winds. Afternoon sea breezes for eastern Northland. The Bay Of Plenty has a sunny day after any morning cloud clears.

A mix of sun and cloud with breezy west to northwesterly winds, brisk at times in the afternoon.

Sunny with northwesterlies, winds may tend easterly about the coastal fringes of Hawkes Bay and Gisborne.

High cloud, chance spot of rain in the morning otherwise mainly dry. High cloud gradually decreasing from afternoon. Gusty northwesterly winds.
Northwesterlies change southwest around midday bringing some cloud which breaks away in the evening, winds tend easterly in the evening.
Showers mostly clear by midday although the odd straggler may hang around till evening, sunny spells break through from afternoon. Westerly winds.
