Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mainly cloudy this morning with a few showers clearing away, some sun breaking through this afternoon. About the Coromandel and more so the Bay Of Plenty there could be a few late afternoon / evening isolated showers, a low risk one or two could become heavy. Winds are light for most tending southwesterly about Northland and Auckland.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly sunny with light winds, afternoon westerly breezes for Taranaki. Some morning cloud especially about the Central North Island then breaking away this afternoon.
Highs: 21- 24

Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny with high cloud clearing away this morning, a little cloud builds about the ranges this afternoon bringing the low risk of a late afternoon / evening isolated shower mainly for Hawkes Bay and Gisborne. Light winds this morning tend easterly after midday.

Wellington

Sunny with light winds tending southerly.
High: 21

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with afternoon northerlies for Nelson, afternoon east to northeast winds for Marlborough.
Highs: 21-23

Canterbury

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, light winds tend east to northeast this afternoon.
Highs: 21-23

West Coast

Mostly sunny with light winds tending west to southwest this afternoon. Warm afternoon temperatures inland about the likes of Buller.
Highs: 18-25

Southland & Otago

Mostly cloudy this morning about Southland and coastal Otago, chance of a shower too. Some sun starts to break through this afternoon. Becoming mostly sunny this morning about Central Otago, winds from the west or southwest, breezy about coastal areas.
Highs: 17-22
