Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny. In the morning however a few showers may affect the Coromandel then afternoon and evening about Northland and northern parts of Auckland. Light winds tend east to northeast.
Highs: 22-23

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny with southeasterly breezes after a cold start for inland areas.
Highs: 19-21

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny weather, cloud a bit more frequent about the Mahia Peninsula
and perhaps coastal Gisborne with the chance of a shower till midday otherwise
dry. Southwesterly winds die away in the evening.
Highs: 18-20

Wellington

Mostly sunny with southerlies gradually easing.
High: 17

Marlborough & Nelson

Mostly sunny weather with east to northeasterly breezes from midday.
Highs: 18-20

Canterbury

Any early morning cloud breaks to mainly sunny weather, easterly quarter
winds becoming breezy in the afternoon.
High: 16-17

West Coast

Cloudy periods with the odd shower about, some may remain dry. North to
northeasterly winds.
Highs: 18-19

Southland & Otago

Sunny with northeasterly breezes, light winds inland.
High: 18-21
