A ridge lies over the North Island today bringing settled weather, expect some high cloud though. The South Island has a northerly airflow.

Auckland & Northland

Sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds.

Bay Of Plenty

Sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds.

High: 18

Waikato & Central North Island

Sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds. Could be patches of fog
morning and night.

Highs: 16-18

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny with a few patches of high cloud, light northeasterlies.

Highs: 18-19

Western North Island

Sunny areas and some high cloud, light westerlies. Cloud thickens about
Taranaki in the evening.

Highs: 17-18

Wellington

Cloud thickening in the morning, becoming mostly cloudy by midday.
Northerly winds, picking up a little in the afternoon.

High: 16

Nelson

Cloudy periods with northerly winds, some brief rain in the evening.

Marlborough

Morning high cloud clears to a mostly sunny afternoon, northwesterly winds
pick up a little after midday.

easing.
