Auckland & Northland
The odd shower with southwesterly breezes, showers ease later this evening becoming few and far between.

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island
Cloudy spells with the odd shower clearing this evening, clear spells develop overnight especially about the Bay Of Plenty.

Eastern North Island
Areas of cloud, a few showers about clearing this evening. Showers about Hawkes Bay and Gisborne may be heavy then easing overnight. Winds from the south or southwest.

Western North Island
Cloudy periods with west to southwest winds, chance of a shower or two (mainly Tarnaki north) any of which clear later this evening.

Wellington
A period of heavy showers this evening with a chance of hail then easing later, southerly breezes.
Tonight’s Low: 8

Nelson
Some cloud, chance of an isolated shower this evening. Clear skies overnight with southwest breezes.
Tonight’s Lows: 5-6

Marlborough
Heavy showers, some with hail clearing later this evening. Clear skies developing overnight with light winds.
Tonight’s Lows: 4-5

Canterbury
Cloudy areas with easterly winds, a few isolated showers about also some possibly heavy with thunder and hail then clearing this evening. Many areas will remain dry though and not see any heavy showers, depends exactly where showers track and move.

Clear spells with west to southwest breezes easing this evening.

Coastal Otago
A few showers clearing later this evening, clear spells overnight with cool southwesterlies easing a little.
