WeatherWatch.co.nz has both Facebook and Twitter accounts – along with our FREE APP for Apple, Android and Tablets (download from the stores…and no charge, unlike some of NZ’s mainstream government tax funded competitors)
Why follow us on Facebook?
Because we post more updates on our Facebook page – especially around breaking weather news, such as sudden thunderstorms, flooding or tornadoes – which don’t always make it to our hompepage. Also a great place to share your weather observations from around the country with other New Zealanders.
Our Facebook account is great to follow for all NEWS and BREAKING NEWS and to chat to thousands of New Zealanders across the country to share weather obs and questions. With nearly 17,000 other people following us, there’s never a shortage of things to talk about here!
Why follow us on Twitter?
All our news stories feed into Twitter (the modern version of an RSS feed if you like). We do reply to questions on Twitter but not as quickly, or as detailed, as we do via Facebook. Our Twitter account is great to follow for all NEWS and BREAKING NEWS – for people who want frequent news updates, with less of the personal touch – just the stats, facts and news – to keep your Twitter simple and uncluttered.
