We’re aware of a fault affecting some users displaying other weather stations instead of your nearest real time observation.

Please note, this does NOT affect the quality of the hourly and 10 day FORECASTS for your selected area – Now/Current observations are run by private weather stations on IBM’s Wunderground network.

Lately some show current weather conditions which may not be from your nearest weather station – or a local station that seems wildly incorrect. This is not affecting all of NZ – and we’ve noticed more complaints from Hawke’s Bay and Wellington for some reason.

We’ve contacted support at IBM/Wunderground and they are expecting a fix soon. However, in the past, it’s taken some time to address small local bugs like as it’s part of a global network.
