Yes it is nearly December (slow down time!) and with the warmer days of summer getting nearer yet again there will no doubt be multiple status updates starting to come through with the inevitable “Off to the beach!” line.
Which translates to “Hopefully someone can see me ponce around with my new beach body”…… all in good humour of course.
Summer is a favourite season for many kiwi’s – Warmer temperatures, BBQ’s, fishing, relaxing, camping, walking, sight-seeing, a cold beer after a hot day and yes even going to the beach…. Oh and of course my favourite, thunderstorms!
What do you enjoy most about summer?
We would love to here your thoughts and ideas about what you like to get up to during the warmest months of the year.

The thing I love best about summer is being able to have a good say 6-8 hours daylight left to get “outside’ after you finish work (depending of course what time you finish work).
I love to get out and ‘potter’ in my garden in the evening after my tea and watching the news and weather of course!
Also love being able to put washing out anytime even late in the evening and being able to bring it in in an hour or two! Now I’m just sounding like a nana!!
Only downside of summer is my chocolate melts 🙁
And my hair seems to get a life of it’s own (ie frizz factor) So I sort of have a pre lightning strike static look to my hair (gorgeous) most of summer!!
