We’ve seen areas of rain and showers around the country – but many areas that need rain need much more.
The week ahead sees some rainfall chances – a low in the Tasman Sea will have to run into high pressure over NZ early this week but it’s also likely to combine to pull down more sub-tropical airflows from the north and that could see areas of rain and showers move across the north of NZ.
You can view rain accumulation maps whenever you want in our Maps and Radar section at WeatherWatch.co.nz.
To drill down even deeper with rainfall figures on your farm, local community, town, city suburb or remote Kiwi location then check out www.RuralWeather.co.nz (and yes, an app is coming soon – we’re in the testing phase right now!).
