Epic Photo from WeatherWatch.co.nz reader in Taranaki

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We love our connection with rural New Zealand (which is only getting stronger as we grow what we do) – and this morning we received a simple email with a stunning photo.

Jock Rowlands of Taranaki sent in this incredible photo with a short but positive message to us: “Epic forecasting ‘Dunc’!  Legendary.  Keep it up”

Mr Rowlands is a sharemilker of 400 cows in Taranaki.

He’s just one of many farmers across New Zealand who is generally happy with the current weather pattern.

Thanks for the amazing photo Jock – and the kind words!

Always gives me a heart tug that mountain, used to live in New Plymouth and yes the coast road is a spectacular trip with the mountain on a clear day.

Definitely a summer pic.

beautiful photo even if it is not current, just come back from a drive around the coast and there is a lot more snow than that on the mountain!

Very good point – wasn’t a date attached, but thanks for pointing that out!  A drive today around the coast would be stunning!!

Cheers for the clarification – didn’t mean to mislead 🙂
