East and west – Weather risks and the place to be on Wednesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

There are no risks about most of today really, as settled conditions will once again prevail – with easterly quarter winds in the east and westerly quarter winds in the west.

Overnight though, there may be a few heavy falls moving into Fiordland, then perhaps by dawn on Thursday a few heavy showers about Southland and Otago. Otherwise it’s all clear!

The Place to be:

Waikato, Central North Island & Bay Of Plenty
It’s shaping up to be mostly sunny here, with light winds and some early cloud possible – though this will clear –  and temperatures will be in the 26-27 range.
