Some hate it, others love it – but tomorrow is the start of Duck Shooting season. The forecast is quite a mixture across the country for dawn tomorrow.
Around Auckland, Northland, Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Rotorua expect a few brief showers here and there – especially in the east. Temperatures will be around 9 or 10 degrees with light winds…obviously some cloud cover too with those showers about.
All other North Island regions west of the main ranges (such as Waikato, King Country, Manawatu, Taranaki) cloudy periods and light winds from the south… temperatures in the mid to late single digits.
Eastern parts of the North Island from Gisborne to Wairarapa showers – heavier in the north. Temperature around 10 in the north and closer to 4 or 5 in the south.
South Island – mostly clear and frosty just a few clouds from Christchurch northwards and around Marlborough.
