The first cricket test continues today between Australia and the Black Caps in Brisbane.
It’s day four and and earlier in the match, day one and two were curtailed early by bad light and showers however yesterday the sun shone for much of the day.
Brisbane is often quite humid and very warm at this time of year but thunderstorms are quite common in the late afternoon over South East Queensland.
Today appears to be mostly dry however as far as the Black Caps go, some rain wouldn’t go amiss as they struggled to take wickets in the field yesterday and Australia easily overhauled the New Zealand total in the first innings.
With 2 days remaining the weather is looking mostly settled today however it could be a little more uncertain tomorrow. Perhaps if the batting can consolidate nicely today for New Zealand, tomorrow some inclement conditions could help save the match.
The second test is set to get underway in Hobart this coming Friday and at this point the long range forecast is looking patchy at best.
