I live only 7km away from Culverden and we reached a temperatue of 27.3. Currently 27.1
Im unsure how Culverden only got 12. When I went in there at 4pm it was well and truly warmer than 12

I thought the same thing when we published it…I think it’s a typo from MetService (they supply our national temps).
Have updated it and removed Culverdon altogether…thought it looked odd with so many places close to 30 nearby!

I think Culverden’s official max temperature on Wed was 31.0¬∞C. So higher than Timaru Airport’s 29.8¬∞C or Timaru itself (Kensington) with only at 23.8¬∞C.
