Still much cooler air over New Zealand thanks to that low during the weekend. The west or south west wind flow is continuing to keep a lid on the daily highs, except for the North Island’s east where they’re much higher.
Tomorrow a large high will spread over much of the country bringing lighter winds and slightly higher temperatures to most.
Tonight could be another cool one for many though, especially inland.
Today’s highest temperature was 27 at Hastings.
Today’s lowest maximum temperature was 13 at Waiouru.

Often can remember when going to the east coast how nice it is over there, lots of sun, brown hills,if it is windy (which it wasnt as much) it would be a hot wind,go back to the westcoast again, much higher windspeeds, bleak cloudy and often Wet and cooler.
