A pleasant Sunday for a large part of the country with fair weather and light breezes inland but one or 2 showers did fall around Northland and tomorrow those showers may creep into parts of Auckland, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay.
Temperatures are likely to continue to be around average for the middle of March with coolish nights but lovely autumnal daytime temperatures.
The top temperature today went to Kaitaia, Alexandra and Murchison with 25 degrees and the low was 16 degrees in Lyttleton.
