Cyclone Cody forms south of Fiji, current tracking brings it in to NZ area

> From the WeatherWatch archives

DEVELOPING – Tropical Cyclone Cody has formed south of Fiji, according to the Fiji Met Service. The storm is currently forecast to reach Category 2 strength.

Tracking takes it away from Fiji and, about one week from today, into the NZ area.

WeatherWatch.co.nz will have more details on Tuesday. With the storm out at sea there isn’t much to report again today this far in advance for NZ.

Those in Fiji should be up to date with the Fiji Met Service official local warnings.
