Not too much in the way of risks to speak of today, but it has been a frosty start for some – mainly in sheltered parts of the South Island, where Timaru was sitting at a fresh -2C at 6am this morning!
Later on Wednesday night, a frost risk is again present – this time for the North Island too – with frosts only likely for inland parts of the North Island Waikato southwards mainly.
In saying that, if some areas are sheltered enough, it could well dip to zero or below!
Western and northern Northland hold the chance of an isolated storm – though it’s not looking like anything too dramatic.
