Cloud and wind – #WeatherRisks for Monday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s back into the swing of things at the start of a new week, and looking rather settled to get things going.

Though there’s not much in the way of serious risks, low cloud or fog could be a factor in calm, inland parts of the North Island – though it shouldn’t cause too much in the way of major disruptions.

Northwesterlies through Cook Strait and into Wellington will increase in strength around midday, with gusts up to gale force at times expected – but this of course is nothing new for the area, and shouldn’t ruffle too many feathers.
