Just like yesterday, it’s not looking too lively around the country today, weather-wise – although the fog we’ve seen in parts of New Zealand in the early part of the week will stick around for this morning at least.
Southland and Central Otago are looking the most likely to see some fog, as the sea breezes stay at a minimum and the air temperature starts to fall heading into winter.
The eastern North Island is set for some patchy rain or drizzle, while the western and central parts of the North Island look like fining up after any early showers clear.
Northland, Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty are set for a few afternoon showers too, while easterlies develop by midday for these regions.
