Changeable weather once more

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A series of fronts are expected to continue to roll across the country over the next 7 days, seeing more changeable weather.

Mild northerlies preceding fronts followed by cooler southerlies is what we have seen over recent weeks.

Anticyclones are struggling to hang around in this part of the world and although that isn’t always unusual for late Spring, the constant change is a real hassle for planning any form of outdoor events.

Windy conditions can be expected over many parts with showery periods off and on. Colder southerlies can be expected in the south over parts of the weekend and into next week with temperatures falling below average yet again.

It’s not all doom and gloom however with long sunny spells expected too and some eastern regions may escape the worst of the weather.

Hi Sarah,

It does look like a relatively dry and breezy day. Could be a bit cloudy but all the best for the day!
