CAMPING Update: Windy days, warm & cold nights plus upcoming nationwide rainfall totals (+7 Maps)

If you’re camping or tramping at the moment the weather may be a bit frustrating. Here are the main highlights over the next few days with regards to heavy rain, strong winds, swells and overnight lows for those sleeping outdoors.

While the next five days ahead are windy at times, wet at times and both hot and cold for some regions next week does look a lot more settled.

The long weekend for Auckland Anniversary (top half of the North Island) is this weekend and may see a couple of showers lingering on Saturday around Bay of Plenty and Coromandel Peninsula otherwise fairly calm, mild and mostly dry for all three days.
