To some of you this story may be considered a jinx – but the current computer models and the latest weather data say that the upcoming weekend may be a sunny and dry one.
WeatherWatch.co.nz says that a large high building over the northern Tasman Sea should mean settled, mild, weather for most however the high won’t completely cover New Zealand – allowing a weak spot along the east coast.
This weaker area of air pressure could allow a system from the south to roll through and bring cloud and even showers.
However, at this early stage, all of New Zealand looks set to have a dry and fairly sunny weekend ahead.
We’ll keep you up to date as the working week progresses.

Look like a nice weekend is lining us up for once, and has been in the computer models for the last 3-4 days.
I am just hoping this is the case as i have picked the best weekend for a tramping trip, although there is a building NWer into Sunday over the south island by the looks with heavy rain moving into Fiordland and South Westland Sunday afternoon.
