Antarctic Sunsets…at 37 below zero!

With the polar blast working its way through the country this week, these photos were sent in by Antarctica NZ CEO Lou Sanson in -37oC, as he viewed his first Antarctic sunset. 

This will be Lou’s last visit to the ice as CEO of Antarctica New Zealand…so very poignant that mother nature put on a light show for him.

He said it was one of the standout moments of his trips south.
