ANTARCTIC BLAST ARRIVES!

WeatherWatch.co.nz

Winter weather has returned to the lower South Island overnight as a bitterly cold Antarctic blast moves up the country.

As of 11pm temperatures were near zero degrees with heavy precipitation – indicating it’s snowing (or at least a rain/snow mix) to sea level in Southland – a rare event for November!
