Another high on the way – Situation & outlook for Wednesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Our weather continues to sit in a mild and clear pattern for the most part – with a northeasterly airflow sitting over the country and another high on the way from the east in the Tasman.

A weak frontal system slides over the upper South Island in the morning, before moving onto the North Island in the afternoon.

Mostly this will bring cloud and a few patchy showers to some – mostly the middle third of the North Island, and on both coasts.
