New Zealand and Australia’s weather are often connected and today the Tasman Sea is the connecting piece with a stormy small low pressure system near NSW about to drift towards NZ.

High pressure dominates the rest of Australia and a large portion of NZ – these are two different high pressure belts with this stormy low stuck in the middle. The low will weaken as it drifts towards NZ by Friday.
