America’s Cup: Hourly forecast for San Francisco Bay

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Updated 7:30am NZT—  Here are the latest forecasts via our friends at Weather.com for racing conditions in San Francisco this morning.

The wind speeds are in km/h (a measurement most of us understand).  However, on the water they use knots. Basically that’s about half the wind speed of km/h for those who don’t know.

Today’s forecast calls for winds averaging around 9 ot 10 knots and possibly gusting into the low to mid teens.

It ended up being more southerly than these forecasts – I think that’s why the racing is postponed. Such a shame.
