School holidays continue, and so does the bright, sunny weather around much of the country, as our big anticyclonic friend still hovers above the country.

The weekend will see some more weather variety, with heavy rain in store for some parts of New Zealand – while Tropical Cyclone Amos whirls away to our north in the Pacific.
