All clear ahead: Wednesday’s weather risks

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The only possible risks in the country’s weather today are shower related – and they’re more like blessings than risks – as they will (hopefully) come to thoe who need it most!

Canterbury farmers will be happy, as showers and southerlies are picked to persist for much of the day – albeit not particularly widespread or persistent – before clearing overnight.

The only other place at risk of any real action is Marlborough, where a fine start will break to thickening cloud and a few showers before evening.

Other than that, it’s a continuation of 2015’s pattern so far – settled, fairly dry weather around most of the country.

Big storm in Hawkes Bay. Torrental rain. Hail 10 millimeters in size. Orchard damage would be likely. Met service had the prediction….what about you. Lol.
