After a colder than normal week, NZ temperatures set to spring back to warmer than average (+3 Maps)

> From the WeatherWatch archives

More than half of this week has been colder than average for this time of the year in New Zealand but that ends today, with the exception of Hawke’s Bay.

The Bay is the only region that will experience a cooler than average afternoon for late November. Most other North Island regions, after certainly a cooler start today, will enjoy a normal November afternoon high. Some in the South Island are enjoying a warmer than average day for the first time this week.

On Friday warmer than average weather spreads back into the North Island for the first time in five days thanks to air flows from the northern Tasman Sea.

Even warmer weather is likely this weekend for some places with afternoon thunderstorms highly likely through the interior of both main islands.

Mmm! Unusual weather of late.
I suggest some have been having fun with some Geoengineering.
