A big high pressure system is heading our way, which will start to influence our weather for the rest of this week – after a wet and windy July so far.
A few showers are sticking around for some however, as the departing southwesterly airflow leaves a sting in its tail and a few places in the southwest corner of the South Island look wet too – but overall it’s looking fine.

We have had nothing but highs this year and not much tropical rain but for the last 2 main lows
