And now for something a little positive – after a week of drama here’s something that might perk you up a bit.
Warm winds ahead of an approaching low means most of us will enjoy a dry, mild, evening to kick off the weekend.
The nor’west flow will gradually build this evening and into Saturday before a frontal system arrives bringing heavy rain to those in the west.
WeatherWatch.co.nz says for those planning on BBQ’s or having a beer or wine outdoors after work conditions should be fairly good for most regions – although perhaps a little breezy in some areas – with just a little cloud about Northland.
Make the most of it – tomorrow night looks windy or wet for most centres.
